New scientific collaboration for Neurodegenerative Disease Research

New collaborations for LifeCharger!

LifeCharger replied to the transnational call launched by the EU Joint Programme – Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND) initiative for understanding the mechanisms of non-pharmacological interventions.

The consortium leaded by Istituti Clinici Scientifici Maugeri (Clinical Health Research Institute, Milan, Italy), includes:

Istituto Auxologico Italiano IRCCS (Ospedale San Luca, Milan, Italy)

Centre Reference SLA (CHU Tours, France)

Département de Biologie Médicale, Laboratoire National de Santé, Dudelange

Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz

LifeChaerger partecipates as external collaborator, like other companies.

The principal aim of the project is to understand the biological, physical and psychological mechanisms of virtual reality-based home intervention for a combined program with exercises and mindfulness in ALS patients.

In this framework, lifeCharger would take part to the development and implementation of the platform to collect and share digital biomarkers, used to personalize and adapt the VR activities and the treatment.
